Still possible to register for Powerman Zofingen

If you want to participate in PowermanZofingen at September 1 and 2 2012, you can register directly at the PowermanZofingen arena until half an hour before the race. Thanks to a special promotion at Perry Center Oftringen, it is even less expensive for PowerKids to register at Perry Center Oftringen. Until August 29, 2012 you can also register for the Powerman CHARITY.

The running and bike course of the most beautiful, famous and hardest Duathlon in the world are signposted and athletes can go and have a look at the conditions. More than 500 duathletes from over 30 countries will fight for the Long Distance World Championship title at September 2, 2012. At the same day, also many other cracks and hobby athletes go about the Short Distance event. There are also many relay teams both over the Long and the Short Distance. It will be a bit cozier at September 1, 2012 during the PowerKidsand the Powerman CHARITY event, where you can do a good deed together with Swiss celebrities.

Special promotion at Perry Center
Attired in the philosophy of doing a good deed, Perry Center Oftringen is strongly supporting Powerman Zofingen during the last preparation time. Outside of the shopping mall you see a huge placard that adverts to the event and inside of the mall you can have a look at a Powerman Zofingen crew car, a hybrid Toyota Prius III. At the Perry Center info point, all PowerKids participants until age of 13 can register without paying a fee for late registration until August 29, 2012. Perry Center resumes the administration fee of CHF 5.00 for all PowerKids.

After that date you can only register for CHF 25.00 (incl. CHF 5.00 late entry fee) until August 30, 2012 (24:00 Uhr) via www.powerman.ch or at StadtbüroZofingen where you are requested to make a cash payment. If you also miss this deadline you can still register at September 1, 2012 as of 12:00 until 30 minutes before the start of the PowerKids race at the Powerman arena right behind the “Gemeindeschulhaus”.

The PowerKids aged 6 to 13 start between 13:30 and 14:40 over the distance of 0.55 or 0.75km running, followed by 1.1 or 1.5km biking and then again by 0.3km running. The youngest duathletes, the PowerPfüderis (age-group 2007 and younger) can have a first look at Powerman Zofingen for free, they do not have to register in advance. They can simply come at September 1, 2012 and run 60m at 14:10. Please note to be present at least 30 minutes before your start for the bike deposit. All participants need to bring their own bike and helmet.

Do a good deed
For the Powerman CHARITY participants comes fun and the charitable aspect first. There you run or bike just for fun and without ranking list. Do it together with many Swiss celebrities like Rahel Frey, Esther Süss, EvelyneLeu, Donghua Li, Mike Kurt, UrsDellsperger, Christian Wenk, Stephan Meier, Carlos Lima, Mathias Frank, BenvenutoSavoldelli, SandroBurki and other footballers from FC Aarau.

This year we support PLUSPORT BehindertensportSchweiz. The entry fee is CHF 50.00. Your donation is also very welcome if you cannot participate at September 1 but just whishes to make a contribution.

You can register until August 29, 2012 online at www.powerman.ch or until August 31 directly via cash payment at StadtbüroZofingen (Kirchplatz 26, 4800 Zofingen), via letter (PoewrmanZofingen, Stadtbüro, Kirchplatz 26, 4800 Zofingen), via Fax (062 745 71 74) or via Mail at info@powerman.ch. Please address you payments as following: Verein Powerman, Vermerk CHARITY, your name, family name, address and e-mail. Please also indicate if you run (5km), bike (10, 20 or 30km) or if you would like to make a donation. Bank details: Account no. 0814-553824-51-1, IBAN CH34 0483 5055 3824 5100 1, CS Zofingen.

You can also register at Perry Center Oftringen for Powerman CHARITY until August 29, 2012. There is also the possibility to register directly at the Powerman arena at September 1, 2012 until 10:30 at the entry of the VIP-tent just right behind the “Gemeindeschulhaus” Zofingen. The entry is only valid upon payment. Please bring your own bike along.

The start for the Powerman CHARITY bike course is at 11:00 in front of the “Rosengarten-Turnhalle”. The running course starts at 11:30 within the Powerman arena, right there where just one day later the Duathlon World Champion is being chosen.
