The race course 2007 will pass the traditional Bodenberg again

Preliminary decision at the Bodenberg 2003: Stefan Riesen leaves Benny Vansteeland and Huub Mass behind

After a different race course in 2006 the cycling course will go for the 2007 edition of the most famous duathlon of the world back to the well known and popular original track that was used in the years 1991 to 2005 already. "It was not an easy decision to take", mentionned president Stefan Ruf, "because the course 2006 gave a good feedback from spectators and athletes. But Zofingen is an event with tradition and one element of this tradition is the cycling course passing the legendary Bodenberg, that was passed already 15 times in a row." For the advantage of the athletes will be the 8 k shorter distance of now again exactly 150 k and the smaller total height difference. With this decision there will be the possibility to attack the course record – providing good weather conditions.
