Notification for registered long distance athletes
As the 2012 Zofingen ITU Powerman Long Distance Duathlon World Championships approach, we would like you to be aware of the following:
Many of you might have registered on your own for the event on Sunday 2nd September, which is the Open race category. This race will have a different start list, result list and awards ceremony than the official and recognized ITU Powerman WCHs. However, it is possible for you to still register for the official ITU ranking. Please check it here
- If you are listed on your age group start list, your National Federation has already endorsed your participation in the ITU event and your registration can be changed from the Open race to the ITU World Championship race category. For this to be executed, we need you to send a message no later than 10 days from now to info@powerman.ch confirming we can change your registration to the ITU race. If we don’t receive the communication, your registration will remain as it is, for the Open race.
- If you are not on this list and you would like to race the 2012 ITU Powerman LD Duathlon World Championships race, please contact your national federation for them to process the entry.
Be aware that you have to fulfill all necessary National Federation obligations (i.e. national uniform, license, etc) to participate in the ITU World Championship race. Price money is paid exclusively to the ITU Powerman Elite category.
