Lukas Baumann

Luki (born in the year 1978) is together with his brother Joni Powerman Ambassador of the First Hour. He’s a very active member of the Powerman Zofingen Organisation. Both athletes are the leaders of the Ambassador group. Luki is responsable for the contacts and the intercourse (exchange) to the sports federations. Oliver (M40) is a very experienced multi-sportsman. He loves most marathons and even ultra marathons. He’s promoting the Powerman Zofingen as an Ambassador on the occasion of his runs and his various clubs he is a member of. He knows the Powerman Zofingen right from the start in the Nineties and he always has a lot of good ideas how to make the Powerman Zofingen even more popular.  Heinz Bauer

Heinz, born in 1943, is already an experienced multi-sports enthusiast. In this age group he was winning last year (2009) the Powerman Zofingen und the Powerman Germany. He’ll be active as an Ambassador for the Powerman Zofingen on the occasion of his races and of the training camp.

 

Athletic career
  • He was born in the year 1943 in Dürrengerbisdorf/Sachsen. During his school time he was playing football and doing gymnastics.
  • From 1958 to 1963 he was a racing cyclist with small success in cycling street race for the categories youth and juniors.
  • Studies, job and family have priority.
  • After 1992 again active as an athlet, 1993 he made his first triathlon over the middle distance.
  • 1995 first Ironman in Roth.
  • 1997 first start at the Powerman Zofingen.
  • So far he finished 21 Ironman, among them twice in Hawaii.
  • Winner AK60-64 Ironman Lanzarote 2006
  • 2009 Winner AK 65-69 Powerman Germany and Powerman Zofingen.

  • From 27th February to 8th May 2010: Group leader by Bicycle Holidays Max Hürzeler in Alcudia/Mallorca. On 16th May 2010 Duathlon in Dohna (near Dresden/Germany).

Bruno Sekinger

Bruno is a 32 years old newcomer concerning the duathlon sport. This time (2010) he will start in Zofingen for the first time over the Short Distance. As a very experienced Runner he will by active as an Ambassador of the Powerman Zofingen at his racing stations and he’ll recommend the Powerman Zofingen also to his friends and neighbours.

Sports activities
He discovered his passion for running when he was 13 years old. He takes part in different running activities in Switzerland and in the whole part of Europe. He finished already eight marathon races. He finished in Zürich (twice), Biel (twice), Hamburg, Helsinki, Berlin and in Paris.

He wants to change things a little bit and therefore takes part for the first time in a duathlon. In Zofingen he wants to finish over the Short Distance. After that he will fulfill himself a dream by finishing a triathlon.

In the year 2011 he tries to go over the Olympic distance.
 
Memberships
Because he likes bowling he is also president of a bowling club (SSKV). In his leisure time he likes to organise events. Thats why he also is a member of the organizing committee in Rapperswil-Jona. At the so called Ironman 70.3 he is responsible for the food stations. His homepages are:
