The winners of the 22nd Powerman Zofingen are the same as two years ago: Andy Sutz from Schaffhausen and Erika Csomor from Hungary, who won for the seventh time. The couple ist therefore World Champion on the Duathlon Long Distance of the I.P.A (International Powerman Association). Great results for the local cracks: Jacqueline Uebelhart, born in Welschenrohr and living in Aarwangen becomes second, Lukas Baumann from Zofingen seventh. This years Powerman Zofingen was a great success in every point of view. The Swiss sports TV SSF started airing a full program last year. One of the first live broadcasts on September 9th 2009 was about to the Powerman Zofingen. SSF will be airing the decisive two hours of the Duathlon Long-Distance World Championships in Zofingen live on September 5th 2010. - Raphael Galliker

This year the athletes taking part at the Powerman Zofingen are supplied exclusively against a contribution of 15 Euro / 20 Franken with sports taping tapes by a trained therapist. The spectators of the contest also have the ability in the Expo zone to inform themselves at the "athletes meeting point" about the tapes and the techniques. In the sports field, this technique is used successfully worldwide in many sports.

Preview of Powerman Long-Distance World-Championship in Zofingen 2010 - On the weekend of the 4th and 5th of September 2010 the Powerman Zofingen will already be taking place for the 22nd time. With its 10km (6.21mi) run, 150km (93.21mi) cycling, and another 30km (18.64mi) run the Long-Distance World Championship event is the toughest duathlon in the world. By contrast, the enhanced Powerman Charity, held for the third time, will offer a lot of fun and do much good. Several celebrities have already announced their participation. - by Raphael Galliker

FLYER Biketec AG Huttwil is involved with the Powerman Zofingen
- He was a fan of the Powerman Zofingen for a long time. For one year Kurt Schär with his Biketec AG supports the Duathlon occasion in the Thutstadt also as a sponsor. The queen and the king of Zofingen 2008 have dominated today the Powerman Austria Duathlon. The Hungarian Erika Csomor and the Swiss Andy Sutz won in Weyer. For Csomor it was already the third victory in Austria, for Sutz it was the first one. Camilla Lindholm, Sweden, loves to start in Zofingen on the 5th of September 2010 - At her first attempt in Zofingen Camilla Lindholm last year finished the Duathlon World Championships over the Long Distance in third position. This year the Swedish lady feels much stronger and she tries to beat Erika Csomor on the 5th of September for the first time. Maja Jacober, Recordfinish with the Powerman Zofingen - Maja Jacober has finished the Powerman Zofingen about the long distance already eleven spots. Besides, the 38-year-old native of Zurich mostly landed in the Top-Ten. With her premiere in 1999 she was even second. The Schaffhauser starts with the Powerman Zofingen in 2010 as a cofavorite - Andy Sutz is one of the principal characters with the Powerman Zofingen since 2008. After the victory with the debut about the long distance, there was last year behind Belgian Rekordmann Joerie Vansteelant  on place 2. Erika Csomor, the six times winner at the Powerman Zofingen - Erika Csomor won over the Long Distance the women’s race six times in a row now. The 36 year old Hungarian lady makes a three weeks training camp in Davos before she directly comes to Zofingen for the world championships.
