Le Duey and Svendsen winning

Anthony Le Dueyfrom France and the Danish Susanne Svendsen win at the 12th Powerman Vlaanderen in Geel/Belgium. Le Duey has won in front of the local Glen Laurens and Cathal O’Donovan from Ireland, behind Svendsen came Debbie Verstraeten and Kim Nulens, both from Belgium.

The Powerman Vlaanderen went over 10 km running, 60 km biking and 10 km running. At the end Anthony Le Duey from France was in 2:34:53 more than two minutes faster than Glen Laurens from Belgium who had the same time as the third, Cathal O’Donovan from Ireland. Fourth became the Frenchman Yannick Cadalen, fifth Seppe Odeyn from Belgium and sixth Matt Moorhouse from Great Britain.

In the women’s race Susanne Svendsen from Denmark won as last year, this time in 2:54:32. She was five minutes faster than Debbie Verstraeten and ten minutes faster than Kim Nulens both from Belgium.

Before the ITU Powerman Long Distance Duathlon World Championships in Zofingen on the 7th of September 2014, thePowerman Series will stop in Weyer at the Powerman Austria on the 24th of August.
