Dear media colleagues,

the Powerman Zofingen 2011 takes place the 3rd/4th September.

The Powerman Zofingen media conference powered by Toshiba is on:

Monday, 29th August 2011 from 11 am to 12.15 pm
Place: Rathaus Zofingen (near Thut-Platz).
The media conference powered by Toshiba is followed by an apéro offered by the town of Zofingen, thanks a lot!

At the media concerence powered by Toshiba present will be represantatives of the town Zofingen, of the organizing committee Powerman Zofingen, a couple of athlets and representatives of the Foundation Right to Play, who will become the money from the Powerman CHARITY, and so on.

Please, dear media colleagues, fill in the media registration before the media conference and send the attached registration to: media@powerman.ch. Medias can also register themselves on the 29th August 2011 at the media conference powered by Toshiba. Please note exactly, which medium you represent and how many people will work (add name, address, e-mail, homepage, phonenumber, handynumber).

Special wishes (equipment and so on) have to be noted (we try to arrange it; please note that in general every journalist should take along his own equipment).
Please mention as well if and if yes when you’d like to have a motorbike (for free) on the 4th September 2011 to take pictures or to film on the ITU Powerman Long Distance Duathlon World Championships Zofingen! For tv stations a reservation is a must, newspaper journalists can (if still available by then) ask for a motorbike also on the 4th September at the Toshiba media center!

Please mention if needed:
- telephon-/modemplugs = up to 15 minutes each person for free
- own telefon-/modemplug = only if you pay and reserve it before the end of the media conference on the 29th August 2011)
- motorbike with driver (for free) on the 4th September 2011.

If you want any previews before the event please tell me so and mention what kind of preview you wish (long distance, CHARITY, bikes for Africa, Kilometer-Sponsoring. Please view the news section on www.powerman.ch, where you can find as well thousands of pictures from the Powerman Zofingen 2010, 2009 and so on). The Powerman Zofingen 2011 over the long distance will be again the world championships of the two Associations IPA (International Powerman Association) and ITU (International Triathlon Association).

We would be glad, if you could push already in advance the Powerman CHARITY taking place on the 3rd September 2011. There take part a lot of very wellknown people from sport, entertainment, economics and politics.

On Saturday, the 20th August 2011, the Powerman Zofingen magazin (36 pages) will be delivered with all the Mittelland-newspapers (in between Zürich-Bern and Luzern-Basel) with a capacity of 180‘000 issues. You can get one and a lot of other very interesting information at the Powerman Zofingen media conference powered by Toshiba. Don’t be affraid: If you come just for the Powerman weekend there will be enough information material in the Toshiba media center itself or just go on our homepage www.powerman.ch!

The Powerman Zofingen Toshiba media center at the Powerman weekend is located, as usual, in the Rosengarten-Turnhalle in Zofingen.
Opening times: Saturday, 3rd September 2011, from 00.15 to 8 pm,
Sunday, 4th September 2011, from 6 am to 8 pm.
